Seven Artists in Two Rooms is Offsite’s second group show bringing together work by artists from different generations and backgrounds. The show includes work by Donald Moffett, Ned Vena, Jessica Diamond, Greg Parma Smith, Enzo Shalom, David Wojanrowicz, and Kyle Thurman.
Donald Moffett (b. 1955 San Antonio, Texas) Recent shows include The Radiant Future, Marianne Boesky Gallery, New York, 2012; Pictures, Before and After - an Exhibition for Douglas Crimp, Galerie Bucholz, Berlin, 2014; and Head, Lora Reynolds, Texas, 2015.
Ned Vena (b. 1982 Boston, MA) Recent solo shows include Menace II Societe, Societe, Berlin, 2014; Paintings Without Borders, Real Fine Arts, New York, 2014; Ned Vena, Clifton Benevento, New York, 2012.
Jessica Diamond (b. 1957 Bronx, NY) Recent shows include NYC 1993: Experimental, Jet Set, Trash and No Star, New Museum, New York, 2013; Fresh Hell, Palais de Tokyo, Paris, France, 2010. She was included in the 1991 Whitney Biennial, and exhibited several solo shows at American Fine Arts, New York between 1989 and 1993.
Greg Parma Smith (b. 1983 Cambridge, MA) Recent shows include Melancholy, David Lewis, New York, 2014; a solo show at Balice Hertling, Paris in 2013; Bad Conscience, curated by John Miller, Metro Pictures, New York, 2014.
Enzo Shalom (b. 1993 New York, NY) recently included work in Eating Peanuts, Offsite, New York, 2014. Forthcoming show at UBS Bard College Exhibition Center, April, 2015.
David Wojnarowicz (b. Red Bank, New Jersey in 1954-1992) lived in New York City. The negatives for ‘Rimbaud in New York’ were produced between 1978 and 1979.
Kyle Thurman (b. 1986 West Chester, PA) forthcoming shows include Off Vendome, Dusseldorf, Germany (solo); The Gentle Way (Judo), Clifton Benevento, New York, USA.
